the story behind plankki

Hej! I am Stijn, the owner of Plankki. Plankki was created after years of hobbying and DIYing with wood while having full-time office work. Then, I thought it was time for a real change and started studying carpentry to pursue my true passion. I haven't regretted it since!

A little while later, Plankki was born. Plankki exists to build high-quality products, spaces, and designs. All creations are built and designed in Finland.

With Plankki I create things from scratch, recycle, upcycle the old, or help with building spaces. I build things that people can enjoy every day for as long as possible.

I start with design ideation based on our client's wishes or what I like to build next.

With the rough designs in mind I can start planning measures and materials.

All materials are then carefully crafted and assembled into a high quality product.
